Your adventure begins the moment you land at Victoria Falls Airport. A member of your Tugende Afric guide team will be there to welcome you with a warm smile and transfer you to your hotel near the iconic falls. After breakfast, Tugende Afric will take you to experience one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. With a local guide, you'll spend two awe-inspiring hours walking along the cataract, feeling the spray and hearing the thunder of Victoria Falls. We'll return to the lodge for lunch before the evening's magic: a sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi River. As you glide along Africa's fourth-largest river, sip a refreshing drink, spot hippos, crocodiles, and exotic birds, and watch for elephants on the islands. As the sun paints the sky, a beautiful three-course dinner is served under the stars, serenaded by the sounds of the African evening.
Today, Tugende Afric offers you a legendary thrill. We journey to the Zambian side for the iconic Devil’s Pool experience. A boat takes you to Livingstone Island, followed by a nerve-tingling swim to the very edge of the falls a pool on the precipice of the abyss. It's an adrenaline rush like no other. After returning for lunch, we trade water for rails on the elegant Sunset Train Dinner. Dressed in your finest, enjoy gourmet cuisine and fine wines in a vintage carriage as it rolls along the edge of the falls, offering a uniquely romantic perspective on the sunset.
After checking out, Tugende Afric guides you on a meaningful cultural detour to Mukuni Village. This is a privilege a chance to be welcomed into a working royal village, learn centuries-old traditions, taste local food, and witness authentic craftwork. In the afternoon, the choice is yours! An early start today as Tugende Afric facilitates your seamless transfer across the border into Botswana and the legendary Chobe National Park. After settling into your lodge, we embark on a sunset cruise on the Chobe River. This is your first taste of Botswana's incredible wildlife a leisurely float past drinking elephants, vast buffalo herds, and abundant birdlife, all bathed in the golden light of the African sunset.
Today is dedicated entirely to the wild. With your Tugende Afric guide and expert park rangers, you'll spend a full day on game drives exploring Chobe, famous for its massive elephant herd some of the largest on the planet. Search for lions, leopards, the vibrant red lechwe, and the elusive African wild dog. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, immersing you fully in the sights and sounds of the savannah before returning to the lodge to share stories of the day's sightings.
