After settling in, you will receive a detailed briefing about the incredible adventure ahead. The evening is yours to relax and prepare for the days of discovery to come.

Today, TugendeAfric offers a deep dive into the heart of Uganda's most prominent kingdom. Spend the entire day at the Ewaffe Cultural Village for a hands-on cultural immersion. You will dress in traditional attire, learn ancient food preparation methods, understand traditional social roles, and engage in authentic activities. The experience culminates in a locally prepared Baganda lunch served in the traditional manner, accompanied by captivating stories. In the evening, depending on timing, you may have the option to visit the Ndere Cultural Centre for a vibrant showcase of music and dance from across Uganda.

After breakfast, we check out and embark on a scenic drive west. En route, we make a special stop at the spectacular Murchison Falls (Top of the Falls), where the mighty Nile River forces itself through a narrow gorge, creating a breathtaking sight and excellent photo opportunity. We continue our journey with a stop for lunch, arriving at your lodge near Kibale National Park in the late afternoon. Settle in and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the rainforest.

Wake to the sounds of the forest. After an early breakfast, TugendeAfric takes you to Kibale National Park for your Chimpanzee Tracking adventure. Following a briefing, you’ll trek into the lush forest in search of these charismatic primates, observing their complex social behaviors. The forest is also home to many other monkey species and exotic birds. After this exhilarating experience and lunch, we transfer south to the Nshenyi Cultural Village in the heart of the Ankole region for a unique cultural overnight stay.

Begin your day with a pre-dawn TugendeAfric experience: participating in the morning milking of the iconic Ankole long-horned cattle. Learn about the central role of cattle in Ankole culture and enjoy a traditional breakfast on the ranch. After some leisure time, we have an early lunch before beginning the picturesque drive to the highlands of southwestern Uganda, home to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive at your lodge in the evening, surrounded by the cool, misty air of the forest.

This is the unforgettable highlight of your safari. After a very early breakfast, TugendeAfric ensures you arrive at the park headquarters by 7:30 AM for registration and a crucial briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Your trek through the dense, ancient forest is a true adventure, culminating in one magical hour spent in the presence of a wild mountain gorilla family. This profound encounter is a lifetime achievement. You will receive a certificate before returning to your lodge to reflect on this extraordinary day.

Enjoy a final breakfast in the forest. We then begin our journey back to Kampala/Entebbe. The drive offers a last chance to soak in Uganda's beautiful landscapes. We will stop for lunch en route. Depending on your international flight schedule, TugendeAfric will provide a timely transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your departure, filled with memories of culture, community, and incredible wildlife.
