After a leisurely breakfast, we’ll say a temporary farewell to Zambia as Tugende Afric handles your seamless transfer to Botswana. We’ll cross the border and get you settled into your new lodge in the Chobe region. After a hot lunch, we’ll head out for a shopping trip at a local craft market a great chance to find beautiful, hand-made mementos.
Today is the classic African safari dream! With our expert guides, we’ll spend the full day exploring Chobe National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for lions, buffalo, antelope, and incredible birdlife. Between game drives, we’ll enjoy a picnic in the bush. Return to the lodge in the evening for a hearty buffet dinner, sharing stories of the day’s sightings.
After so many adventures, a relaxed morning is in order. Enjoy the lodge’s amenities, perhaps a spa treatment or a good book by the water. In the late afternoon, Tugende Afric has another special experience: an evening cruise on the Chobe River.
