Your adventure begins as you land at Entebbe International Airport. Your personal Tugende Afric guide will welcome you and transfer you to Forest Cottages in Kampala. After settling in, your guide will provide a comprehensive briefing on the incredible week ahead. The evening is yours to relax and rest, ready for the journey north.

After breakfast, we journey north with Tugende Afric to Uganda's largest national park, Murchison Falls. Arrive at your chosen lodge (Gipili or Labongo) in the evening, where the savanna air and distant sounds of the Nile set the scene. Freshen up and enjoy an early dinner, preparing for tomorrow's exploration.

We rise at dawn for a morning game drive on the northern bank's savannah plains. With Tugende Afric, search for elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, and more. Enjoy a memorable bush breakfast before returning to the lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a serene boat cruise on the Nile to spot hippos, crocodiles, and countless birds along the banks, a completely different perspective of the park's life.

After breakfast, we check out and visit the dramatic top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile explodes through a narrow gorge a breathtaking photo opportunity. We then begin our scenic journey southwest towards the lush rainforests, enjoying lunch en route. Arrive at Turaco Safari Lodge near Kibale National Park in the evening for a relaxed dinner.

Today, we enter the "Primate Capital." After breakfast, we head into Kibale Forest for an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience. With expert guides, watch these intelligent beings in their natural habitat. After lunch, we embark on a scenic drive south, traversing beautiful landscapes to reach Gorilla Safari Lodge in Buhoma, on the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

This is the pinnacle. After a very early breakfast, your Tugende Afric guide ensures you arrive at the briefing point by 7:30 am. Following registration and an essential briefing, we step into the ancient, UNESCO-protected forest. The trek leads to a profound, humbling hour with a family of mountain gorillas—an experience that defines a lifetime. You'll graduate with a certificate from this World Heritage Site.

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive as we depart Bwindi. Tugende Afric will guide you on the scenic return to Kampala, with a stop at a crafts market for last-minute souvenirs if time allows. We will deliver you to Entebbe International Airport or your hotel, filled with stories of the savannah and the forest.
